Abarth tried to secure the models that it can from the wide network of Fiat. They received the IRC title in the formative year as the Punto Abarth S2000. Then after, they led their hot Punto for sale with 155 horsepower Punto Abarth and Punto Abarth EsseEsse with 180 horsepower.
In the recent times, the scorpion badge came up with Fiat 500 which gave a better performance as compared to Porsche. The 500 Abarth with 133 hp then received an EsseEsse version having 160 hp. There is another 500 Abarth Assetto Corse with 200 hp. The 695 Tribuo Ferrari was shown in the latest Frankfurt show. There are many chances of many more new versions and some are on their way to get disclosed but, all this will be done only after the rally team get a chance to introduce the new Abarth 500 R3T.
The specifications of R3T group include the turbocharged cars up to 1.6 liters. The rally prepped 500 packs of 1.4 liter having four cylinder engine and a Garret GT 1446 fixed geometry turbocharger which is good for 180 hp.
The introduction of this vehicle was done last weekend in the Sanremo rally where Abarth was able to won two years running. This will be useful in special events having various promotions as a part of the Assetto Corse program.
